The Olive Grove Project

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything about donating, verifying, and what happens after — answered plainly.

How do I donate?

Copy our TRON wallet address (the button on the home page does it in one click), open any USDT-capable wallet — Binance, Trust Wallet, TronLink — send USDT on the TRC-20 network and choose your amount ($10 funds one seedling). Your transfer appears on the public blockchain within seconds, and on the grove wall the next time the page loads.

Which network — TRC-20, ERC-20 or BEP-20?

TRC-20 only. Fees run about one dollar, versus $5–15 on Ethereum. Funds sent on any other network cannot be recovered — this is the single most important detail of crypto donations, which is why the warning box sits next to our address.

Why USDT instead of PayPal or a card?

PayPal cannot receive payments in Tunisia — the platform doesn't support receiving for Tunisian accounts, so a card checkout was never an option for this project. Crypto sidesteps that entirely, and as a bonus every donation lands on a public ledger anyone can audit — stronger transparency than any payment processor offers.

How do I know the money actually plants trees?

The wallet is public and permanent: every transfer in and out is visible on Tronscan forever, so spending can't hide. The budget is published (60% land · 25% equipment & seeds · 15% training), no salaries are taken, and the transparency page commits to dated photo documentation of the site, planting, and receipts as milestones are reached.

What do I get when I donate?

A permanent on-chain receipt, an entry on the public grove wall, and a printable personalized adoption certificate you generate yourself — tree count included. It makes a genuinely unusual gift for a gardener or an olive-oil lover.

Is this a registered charity? Is my donation tax-deductible?

No — and we say so plainly rather than dressing it up. This is an independent personal initiative by Anis Touati in Tunisia, not a registered charity or NGO; donations are not tax-deductible. What it offers instead of institutional status is radical transparency: a public wallet and an unforgeable on-chain record of every donation.

Can I help without donating crypto?

Yes — sharing the project with one person who loves olive oil or gardening helps more than you'd think. Questions, feedback and local offers of help are welcome at anistouati74@gmail.com.
